International Week for Engineering on 19-23 March 2012

TAMK will organise its second International Week for Engineering on 19-23 March 2012. The International Week has a number of aims and offers its participants a great variety of activities:

- Academic: TAMK would like its international participants to take this opportunity to deliver lectures to TAMK students and experience teaching to a foreign public.

- Promotion: International Week for Engineering will enable the participants to introduce their own institution and their programmes to TAMK students, and to explain them the specificities of their approach to teaching and learning.

-  Networking: Social events will help in meeting informally with colleagues from different countries and higher education institutions. The social programme will enable the participants to share common interests, to network and to consider potential educational co-operations.

- Information: The visiting lecturers will be given an update on the latest developments at TAMK, and those who will visit TAMK for the first time will get an overview of the TAMK facilities.

The International Week for Engineering will welcome 22 lecturers from 14 institutions of higher education from ten different countries in Europe and South-East Asia.

The traditional Water Day event on Tuesday 20 March at 12.00-16.30 in the Assembly Hall is open for all TAMK students and staff.
