Joint application 2011: Nearly 1800 TAMK’s study places in joint application of the spring
The joint application for Finnish education in universities of applied sciences begins on 7 March. TAMK offers almost 1800 study places in 30 degree programmes starting in the autumn 2011. Besides Tampere, study places are also offered in Ikaalinen, Mänttä-Vilppula and Virrat.
A total of 1415 of the study places are in youth education, 244 in adult education and 125 in master’s degree programmes.
The most study places, 659, are offered in the field of technology, 490 in social services and health, 330 in business administration and business information systems, 155 in culture, 130 in tourism, catering and domestic services, and 20 in forestry.
The national application for degree programmes starting in the autumn 2011 takes place on 7 March – 12 April at www.admissions.fi.
The English Master’s Degree Programme in Information Technology is not in the joint application. It is applied for directly to TAMK.
TAMK offers 175 study places outside Tampere
The majority of TAMK’s open study places are in Tampere. Ikaalinen offers 95 study places in the Degree Programmes in Business Administration and Tourism, Virrat 40 study places in the Degree Programme in Media, and Mänttä-Vilppula 20 study places in nursing education and 20 adult education study places in Degree Programme in Business Administration.
There are also 20 open study places in the radiography and radiotherapy education organised by TAMK and JAMK in Jyväskylä.
