TAMK gives a high priority to developing information technology which serves education and information networks thus in turn benefitting studying. The Internet is used as an information source and as a learning environment. Computer classrooms are well equipped.
All TAMK students get a user account which entitles the student to use workstations, e-mail services and access the Internet, TAMK's Intranet and many other services.
In the Intranet, students can find links to essential IT services like their e-mail, news, student administration system, dictionaries, phone directory, the Moodle learning platform and the TAMK library system.
Students can use any vacant computer in any computer classroom unless teaching is in progress. Students do not have to purchase their own computers; they can use those available at TAMK.
Some of TAMK's computer classrooms are available for students in the evenings and during weekends.
