Finland
Finland is well-known for being a safe and stable society with a high standard of education and living. It is also one of the leading information societies in the world. The Finnish way of life is a unique mixture of high-tech and love for the country’s unspoilt nature.
Finland is a member of the European Union and has strong ties with the other Scandinavian countries. It lies at an important intersection between east and west, and offers the best of both worlds.
Finland has four distinctive seasons: summer (June-August), autumn (September-November), winter (December-February) and spring (March-May). While the temperature may vary from +30C in the summer to -30C (or more!) in the winter, the climate is rather mild considering that Finland is on the same latitude as Siberia. The average summer temperature in Tampere is +10 - 15C and -5C in the winter.
