CONTENTS
The programme provides the student with skills in environmental monitoring, management and technology with a holistic approach to manage the world‘s natural resources in sustainable ways. The students will also have a possibility to get supportive skills in entrepreneurship, logistics, energy technology, environmental and quality management. The degree programme has a strong international dimension and the graduates of the degree programme will get competence to work in international environment.
It is highly recommended that every student will spend at least a part of the compulsory practical training in international tasks and take part in international projects of the study programme. Since the students will find their future jobs wherever environmental issues are of paramount importance, a special emphasis is given to developing students’ personal skills and qualities in problem solving, in managerial abilities and in attitudes, especially when dealing with public relations. The international atmosphere will prepare the students for a career in the global economy.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Graduates of the programme typically find jobs as specialists within the industry, public sector or NGO’s in environmental monitoring, designing or assessing industrial impacts and environmental management in business life. They can also work as environmental managers in an enterprise or in local, regional or international tasks within public administration and consulting.
